The original article titled “Perinatal outcome in pregnancies associated with hypertension: A prospective cohort study in a rural tertiary care teaching hospital of North India” published in Indian Journal of Community Medicine, on pages 651-656, Issue 4, Volume 46, 2021[1], is being retracted because the journal's editorial board found ethical concerns in the article. Such publications violate the editorial policy of Indian Journal of Community Medicine, which follows best practice guidelines given by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) mentioned on the Information for Authors and as codified in the signed statements made by the authors regarding the copyright of their work.
